Kiara Mills, Director

Kiara Mills is a third year undergraduate student joint majoring in English & Environmental Sustainability Studies. They are a poet, a writer of longform fiction and an avid reader and podcast listener. This is their first year working on PMF and there's nothing they'd rather be doing. You can find them on Instagram @cowbabycrygirl.

Allison Bell, Assistant Editor - General

Allison Bell (she/her) is a UNBC alumni going for a MA in Publishing. She is an avid reader, a member of the UNBC Arts Club, and has been featured in the second volume of PMF. Her favourite genres include literary fiction, horror, and fantasy. She is also a proud Oxford Comma enthusiast. Find what she is currently reading @booksforallison on TikTok.

Raegan Cote, Assistant Editor - Poetry

Raegan Cote is a second year English MA Graduate student at UNBC. She is a co-founder of Arts Club, member of the UNBC Arts Council, and has co-edited three volumes of PMF. Her poetry explores humour, queer relationships, pop-culture, place, and ecologies. You can find her on Instagram @pulptownfairy.

Tyree Corfe, Assistant Editor - Poetry

Kirsten Kitt, Assistant Editor - Fiction

Kirsten Kitt holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from UNBC, but when she isn’t crunching numbers, you can find her lost in her favourite fantasy worlds. Her writing journey has consisted of longer works of fiction and, as of recently, an adventure into poetry. She is excited to meet other writers by joining the editing team of PMF.

Heather Law, Assistant Editor - General

Heather Law is a fourth year English major (with a plethora of other topics!) at UNBC. They've been published in the last three volumes of Pulp Mill Fiction; much of their poetry is characterized by a theme of nostalgia, and often things on the line between poetry and prose. Their Instagram is @burning_atom.

Heidi Mikkelsen, Assistant Editor - General

Heidi Mikkelsen is a fourth year Joint English and History major at UNBC. She is a member of the Arts Club and the Social Media Executive for UNBC’s History Club. Heidi writes poetry, prose, and far too many essays. Because she doesn’t already spend enough time surrounded by words, in her spare time you can find her curled up with her dog, reading.
